gEoRGE profileGeorge was born in Streatham, South London, and whilst growing up his mind was abused by the likes of Jamie Hewitt and Manga, which led him to focus on drawing and nothing else.
After studying animation for four years, George realised that he would rather work down a coal mine than be stuck at a desk producing someone else's crap. So he decided to start painting - mainly using acrylic and pen.
George has produced work for the Rolling Stones and for The Thirst.
"Living in London is hard work. If you do not shout, you will not be heard. This is what I try to get across in my painting. I hate art that looks like it has been bought from IKEA or stolen from a hospital. Nowadays if you want to get someone's attention you have to walk up to them and punch them in the face." |
